Our Philosophy

Home - At Temple Christian School, it is our firm conviction that proper training first begins at home. The home was the first institution God set on earth. When a child is taught proper discipline and respect in the early years at home, he is then ready to be educated and to develop the skills necessary for him to face life successfully.

Church - God has established His church as the institution directly responsible for the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and upholding the truth of God’s Word. The church has been commissioned by Jesus Christ to Preach the Gospel, Baptize and then Disciple believers. We encourage our families to faithfully attend church in order to achieve the spiritual goals which we all desire our children to reach.

School - It is our conviction that a school is an institution set up by man to help educate and train our children. A school should provide both an environment and a curriculum conducive to effective learning. We believe that, as a Christian school, it is our responsibility to build Christian character in our students. Whether it be through education, sports or social activities, at Temple Christian School our goal is to promote educational and spiritual growth in students while supporting parents in their endeavor to raise their children.

A Message from Our School Administrator

It is a great privilege for my wife and I to serve our community and families through

Temple Baptist Church and Christian School.

Our hope is to present Jesus Christ through the work of the church and school for the

Glory of God. At Temple Christian School we desire to offer the opportunity for young

people to learn and receive a good academic education. Furthermore, we want to

create an environment for students to draw close to God. If ever there was a time

when young people need a godly environment to learn and thrive, it is now!

We pray for our community, and especially the children of this generation, that God, through our

efforts, would gloriously make Christ known to them.

OUR HISTORY

Temple Christian School is a ministry of Temple Baptist Church

Temple Christian School was established over 50 years ago with a purpose of providing an educational program that allows for spiritual, social, and intellectual growth by recognizing the Bible and the Christian principles of life as the pervasive core of all human knowledge and experience. Over the years TCS has grown to facilitate students from preschool through high school. Only in a Christian school can the sacred and the secular be fused together in one comprehensive and true system of education.
